Our truffle hunt with Elia and his dog, Nura, was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. Nura was incredibly cute and clearly loved searching for truffles—it was a joy to watch her work. We were lucky enough to find several truffles, including one impressively large one (photo attached!). What made the experience truly special was Elia. He explained everything with genuine enthusiasm and made the tour both engaging and educational. We learned how truffles grow, the conditions they need, and how dogs are trained to find them. It was fascinating to gain so much insight into a tradition that is such an important part of the region. If you're visiting Diacceroni and are considering the truffle hunt, I highly recommend it. It's a fun, authentic, and memorable experience for anyone who enjoys nature, food, or learning something new.

Amazing experience, super fun, totally recommended!!!

We stayed at Diacceroni for 3 nights in one of their Glamping cabins. We had a wonderful time. We were a bit concerned going in since I had ready some lukewarm reviews of the glamping experience, but everything turned out great. For example, some of the reviews complained that the walls of the glamping tent made a lot of noise during storms. I'm not sure what these reviewers were expecting--you're staying in a tent-like structure after all! The accommodations were great for our family of 5. Rustic and comfortable at the same time. The meals at the Diacceroni restaurant were wonderful and hanging out at the pool was exactly what we needed after nearly 2 weeks of making our way through various Italian cities. The views are spectacular and the people are always friendly. Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely brilliant afternoon cooking lasagne with Lucia who was a fantastic teacher. Lots of fun, stunning location and a delicious homemade meal at the end of it made this a real highlight of our holiday and worth the drive to get here. Bonus if Penelope the donkey comes o say hello!

It was a great experience! We had horse riding lessons with trainers Syria and Ginerva, and rode the wonderful horses, Andrea and Leo! Diaccheroni is a perfect place to relax and enjoy la dolce vita!

We joined the Diacceroni truffle hunting experience, and it turned out to be something really special for us. The guide was super nice, friendly, and genuinely informative — we actually learnt a lot about truffle hunting and how the whole process works. The truffle dog, Nora (hope I get the name right 😂) was ridiculously cute, though we all were a bit tiring as we were running around the mountain following the dog, that made the experience even more memorable. We were so happy that we managed to find five truffle pieces during the morning session. The kids loved it too — they got excited every time the dog started digging. After the hunt, we had a light lunch where they cooked the truffle we just found. Eating freshly picked truffle right after the experience made the whole thing feel even more special — simple food, but unforgettable. It was fun, unique, and something we’re really glad we tried. A special experience for the whole family!

Abbiamo fatto una cavalcata a fine serata ed è stato stupendo. Posti meravigliosi, luce bellissima e Mattia l'istruttore è stato veramente eccezionale. Grande professionalità e bella compagnia. Le nostre cavalle Pesca e Bully sono state bravissime, dolci e tranquille. Sicuramente torneremo per un'altra esperienza.

We had a twelve day stay here at this beautiful property! There is plenty of room to spread out and feel private and yet you had have access to amazing amenities and experiences. The pools were so very pretty and the rooms have authentic rustic Italian architecture. Aurora and Donnatella our cooking class instructors were skilled and charming. We prepared a wild boar stew and then ate the stew later that evening at the restaurant which has stunning views. The chef and kitchen staff as a whole were very skilled at serving and accommodating when considering food preferences and food allergies. The property and region had many English speakers so navigating new experiences was fairly easy. This was my first european trip and “farm-stay” experience and it will definitely not be my last.

We had a wonderful experience at Diacceroni Farms in Tuscany. Our kids (ages 10 and 6) absolutely loved the family pony experience—it was one of the highlights of our trip. A special thanks to the horse trainers, Syria and Ginevra, who made the session truly memorable. They were patient, engaging, and made the experience interactive and fun for the kids. Their warmth and enthusiasm really stood out and helped create lasting memories for our family. Highly recommend this experience for families visiting Tuscany!

Abbiamo scelto Agriturismo Diacceroni per l’addio al nubilato di mia cugina e non potevamo fare scelta migliore! La location è semplicemente meravigliosa: immersa nelle splendide colline toscane, con un’atmosfera rilassante e autentica che ha reso la giornata davvero speciale. Abbiamo partecipato a una cooking class durante la quale abbiamo preparato pappardelle, tagliatelle e altre specialità tipiche. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Ilenia, che è stata fantastica: ci ha spiegato ogni passaggio con grande pazienza, professionalità e simpatia, nonostante alcune di noi fossero decisamente poco esperte in cucina! È stata inoltre molto attenta alle allergie alimentari e alle esigenze di tutte le partecipanti, facendoci sentire accolte e a nostro agio. La giornata si è conclusa nel migliore dei modi con una deliziosa cena a base di tutto ciò che avevamo preparato, accompagnata da vino, acqua e un ottimo dolce finale. Consiglio assolutamente questa esperienza a future spose, damigelle e a chiunque stia organizzando un addio al nubilato diverso dal solito, divertente e immerso nella bellezza della Toscana. Un ricordo che porteremo tutte nel cuore!

We had the best experience at our cooking class with Lucia! She was such a great teacher and so patient (and funny) when I almost ruined mine. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We loved the class, the views, and enjoying our pasta at the end! 💞

This was incredible! Made it so easy. We make pasta at home sometimes, but the way Lucia taught it made easier to do at home and we will definitely be making this recipe at home! Also will try lasagna without ricotta!

E’ stata un’esperienza indimenticabile. Grazie al maneggio Diacceroni. Abbiamo fatto la nostra prima passeggiata a cavallo con lezione di preparazione. Un ringraziamento va prima di tutto alle istruttrici Marzia e Syria per la preparazione e professionalità. Hanno saputo a mettere a proprio agio e questo ha fatto la differenza. Un saluto con simpatia e una carezza a Baiocco, Rika, Nikita, ma soprattutto a Pesca e Bully, per essersi fidate di noi ed averci accompagnato tra le colline toscane.

Absolutely fabulous! Lucia was our chef and was the best. She paid special attention to my granddaughter who loves to cook. We took the vegetarian sauce class and the sauce was served to us as a bruschetta and pasta topping! The property is amazingly beautiful. It is also a small hotel. I love Tuscany. Would highly recommended!

Deze ochtend heeft onze dochter van 5 jaar oud een geweldige ervaring gehad. Ze heeft kennis gemaakt met paardrijden op pony Lola en ezel Penelope. Begeleidsters Syria en Ginevra waren heel lief en behulpzaam en ze spraken goed Engels. Ze namen ruim de tijd en leggen alles goed uit. Onze dochter vond het eerst spannend maar werd goed op haar gemak gesteld. We kunnen deze activiteit van harte aanbevelen!

We had the most fun time while making pasta with Ilenia! She was supremely helpful, funny, and she was the defining factor that made the class perfect for us. We loved our class and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

Bellissima passeggiata al tramonto con un paesaggio incantevole. I nostri cavalli Andrea e Rika sono stati super! Dopo la passeggiata cena sul posto con una graditissima sorpresa dello staff per il mio compleanno! Torneremo sicuramente! Il posto è semplicemente unico!!!

Elia and Nora were fantastic. Elia has a wonderful passion for truffle hunting and it is part of his family tradition. Nora was a brilliant truffle hunting dog and so friendly with us and our children. I would highly recommend this experience!

We went for the workshop meat sauce (ragù), and what an experience that was! You learn every aspect of making the ragù, from cutting the ingredients to making the sauce itself. Ilenia explained each step perfectly, and with a good sense of humor. After this you get your own handmade ragù incorporated in a whole dinner, which you can eat at their terrace in front of a sublime Tuscany landscape. And on top of that, we got a 20% discount from Ilenia to buy products from their own territory in their shop. It was a pleasure and one of the best dinner experiences I've ever had.

Rosana was the best teacher of makeing pasta I have ever met. It was a great expirience and thank you for that! Me and my friend were very suprised how she was doing the pasta. Julia thank you for translating everything that Rosana say. Everyone who is Coming to this beautiful place should try to make their own pasta!!!

Die Reiterfahrung war absolut perfekt. Der Hof selbst ist super schön und toll gepflegt, man freut sich schon richtig, wenn man auch sieht wie malerisch er liegt. Dann wird man erst nochmal sanft darauf eingestimmt, wie es ist mit einem Pferd in Berührung zu sein und wie man die Dinge steuert. Dabei finde ich es besonders schön zu sehen, wie respektvoll alles abläuft. Mein Pferd hieß Nikita und war wirklich toll!! Aber noch toller waren die 3 Frauen die uns begleitet haben ( Marzia, Bijou und Syria). Sie waren super lieb und es war ein wirklich schöner Ausritt. Das würde ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen 🫶🏻

Ilenia who was our pasta making insegnante at Diacceroni was absolutely amazing. I appreciate how she shared her craft, patience, and stories with us. She made me feel like I could successfully make pasta (that was edible). I would take this class again anytime.

Ilenia was amazing!! We had 3 generations attend her Pasta Class and she was informative, gave explicit instructions, was very patient, and had an amazing sense of humor! Ilenia made our class so fun and cooked our pasta with the most delicious sauces. She is truly an amazing cook and I would recommend her class to anyone interested in learning how to make pasta. Ilenia was amazing!! My two daughters, three granddaughters, sister and I were looking forward to our cooking class and she did not disappoint!! She was knowledgeable, patient, and funny!! Cooking is her passion and I truly appreciate her sharing it with us. My family and I truly enjoyed the making and the tasting of our pasta!!

Our children had the best time riding Pesca and Bully! Mattia and Marria were the best guides. The learned so much about the horses and it was their most memorable and favorite activity in Tuscany!

My family did the truffle hunt and the wine tasting. Both were outstanding additions to our stay at Diacceroni. My kids enjoyed the truffle hunt with Matte and his dog, Nora. We were surprised to learn that you need to move quickly and keep pace with the dog during the hunt - and the kids loved the chase. The wine tasting was also great, and came with an incredible view. The pours were not small, and the staff member had a wine background. She shared some fun insights on the individual wines and how the wine makers in the area approach the craft. We really enjoyed it.

We took our granddaughter yesterday and she had the best time. Her guide was Alexia and her horse was Bully and they were fabulous with her. Mila now wants to take up horse riding!! Thank you Alexia for making her experience fantastic xx

Whilst staying in Lucca we were so keen to do a pasta making course. We are so lucky to have found this one as it tied in nicely with our plans to visit San Gimignano. Lucia was a great host and teacher. She helped us all make pasta for the first time. It was such a fun experience. The meal was prepared amazingly, especially the vegetarian option. The wine (produced by the Diacceroni vineyard) was delicious too. The views whilst making the pasta were stunning. Great family experience and a highlight of our trip to Tuscany. 5*

ESPERIENZA INCREDIBILE, ILENIA SUPERLATIVA!

Wunderschöne Aussicht und sehr gutes Essen. Der Pool ist groß und perfekt zum Baden. Der Reitstall hat viele Pferde mit guten Trainern/innen und die Reitstunden sind gut gemacht. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, unser achtes mal.
